JUST IN CASE YOU’RE AS CONFUSED AS THE CDC

For your safety and the safety of others. And so we can get out of this pandemic death spiral.

The CDC added this very important warning/information to their website on Friday: “There is growing evidence that droplets and airborne particles can remain suspended in the air and be breathed in by others, and travel distances beyond 6 feet (for example, during choir practice, in restaurants, or in fitness classes).”

AIRBORNE. As in aerosolized spread. As in 6 feet is not enough in an enclosed space. This is basically what the entire scientific community has been saying for months.

The CDC walked the AIRBORNE statement back this morning and removed it from their website. The scientific and public health communities are rightfully stunned by this sudden reversal…but give it a few days. Facts are stubborn things.

I RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE FOLLOWS THE SCIENCE ON THIS AND AVOIDS SPENDING ANY LENGTH OF TIME WITHOUT A MASK IN AN ENCLOSED/INDOOR SPACE.
